Made from the single-origin Uji cultivar Okuyutaka, this kabusecha is shaded for 17 full days to develop a soft, deep umami and refined aroma.
Brewed at low temperatures, it yields a vibrant green infusion with mellow character and lingering sweetness.
The used tea leaves can also be enjoyed as food—add ponzu or soy-based sauce, or mix into omelets and pasta.
