Making the soup base delicious and spicy involves slow simmering pork bones, star anise, cloves, tangerine peel, basil, chili and other spices for up to 8 hours. Using traditional techniques, the rice noodles are kneaded and rounded to dry naturally leading to a smooth and delicate taste without the use of additives. The chili oil in the snail powder is also unique. It uses Guangxi's best morning chili, sautéed in a slow fire, mashed into powder, and then heated with farm vegetable oil to blanch it into a semi-paste chili oil. These savory beans, sour bamboo shoots, peanuts and other ingredients all lead to its rich and mouth-watering taste.
