premium, all-natural seasoned sushi rice vinegar. It is crafted by the historic Marusho Vinegar Brewery, which was established in 1879 in Wakayama, Japan. This vinegar is naturally fermented in large cedarwood vats for up to 500 days, using soft mountain spring water and locally grown estate rice.

 

Unlike basic rice vinegars, this is a ready-to-use seasoned sushi vinegar (Sushizu) that is mixed with premium Rishiri kombu kelp, traditional sweet amazake, and hon mirin.

 

It features a sweet, savory, lean, and crisp profile, with a deeply rounded umami finish, eliminating the need to add extra sugar or salt to your rice.

 

Additionally, it contains no artificial additives or chemical preservatives.
