Hokkaido Uni Bara
The most versatile grade — same flavor, loose form.
What is Bara Uni?
Sourced from Hokkaido daily auction — selected from over 1,000 trays each morning. Bara (バラ) is broken or loose uni — the same flavor as higher grades, just not in perfect tray form. It works well for pasta, rice, sauces, and creative dishes. No alum, no preservatives.

How to enjoy
Bara uni is the most versatile grade — spoon it over warm rice, fold it into pasta or a sauce, or use it in any dish where loose uni works as well as a whole tray. Served raw, a little fresh wasabi or a few grains of salt is all it needs. Keep it cold until serving.
Pairing notes — warm rice, pasta, fresh wasabi, sea salt, nori, and a dry sake.
Handling & freshness: Fresh uni — use within 3 days of arrival. Do not freeze; freezing breaks the texture and the uni cannot recover. Refrigerate immediately on receipt. Hand-selected at auction each morning; stock is limited and reflects live market conditions. Reserve early. Freshness guaranteed or full refund.
