Kokusakin Gesho Matcha Bowl & Chasen Set 620 그램

Crafted with both beauty and function in mind, this matcha set brings a refined touch to your tea ritual.

The term kokusakin gesho (黒砂金化粧) refers to a specific Japanese ceramic technique characterized by a glossy, gold-like finish applied over dark clay.

This technique is often used to create visually striking contrasts between the deep, rich tones of the clay body and the shimmering gold-like surface.

Paired with a delicate 100-tine chasen (茶筅) bamboo whisk, this set offers a smooth and frothy matcha-making experience.

Chasen with a higher than 80 tine count are favored for their ability to create a finer, creamier foam, making them ideal for usucha (薄茶) thin matcha preparations and everyday tea rituals.

Please note that due to the nature of it being a pottery product, the size, shape, and color may vary depending on kiln conditions.
