Yunnan Tengchong Specialty Dried Erkuai

This traditional Tengchong dried Erkuai is made from premium local rice in Tengchong, Yunnan. Produced by soaking, steaming, pounding, shaping and natural air-drying. Clean ingredients, no extra additives. It is the classic ingredient of the famous local dish "Da Jiu Jia" (Stir-fried Erkuai).

Compared with fresh Erkuai, the dried version has longer shelf life, easy storage and convenient transportation. After rehydration, it tastes soft, chewy with natural rice aroma, different from ordinary rice cake.

Cooking Methods

1. Stir-fry (Da Jiu Jia): Soak until soft, stir-fry with egg, tomato, vegetables and ham, the signature dish of western Yunnan.

2. Soup: Cook in broth with minced meat and pickled vegetables, ideal for breakfast or late-night meal.

3. Also suitable for hot pot and cold salad. Quick & easy cooking.
