Clove (Clove, Flos Caryophyllata, Syzygium aromaticum, Eugenia aromaticum / Eugenia caryophyllata) is an aromatic spice derived from the dried flower buds of the clove tree, a member of the myrtle family (Myrtaceae). The flower buds are traditionally known as Male Clove (Gong Ding Xiang 公丁香), while the fruits are referred to as Female Clove (Mu Ding Xiang 母丁香). This product is made from finely ground premium cloves for convenient culinary use.

Nature & Flavor:
Pungent, warming in nature.
Clove is a highly aromatic spice with an intense, warm, sweet, and slightly pungent flavor. Even a small amount adds remarkable depth, richness, and complexity to both savory and sweet dishes.

Suggested Use:
Everyday home cooking: 0.2–0.5g (approximately 1/10–1/4 teaspoon) per recipe.
Spice blends: 2–5% of the total seasoning weight (for example, 2–5g per 100g spice blend).

Important Notes:
According to Traditional Chinese Herbal principles, individuals with yin deficiency or excessive internal heat should use with caution.
