A new autumn addition to our soft loaf range. We wanted to knead the warm, abundant feeling of fall into a loaf of bread.
The crust bakes to a golden color, and the slashes reveal a pumpkin-yellow crumb.
The dough is kneaded with Beibei pumpkin puree, so the crumb is especially soft with a natural pumpkin sweetness, in the style of a traditional Japanese sweet bun.
Inside is a filling of pumpkin puree and cream cheese. The pumpkin is soft and sweet, the cream cheese slightly salty and tangy, and together they never feel heavy.
Tear it apart as is, or warm it briefly so the cheese filling softens. Good for breakfast or an afternoon snack.
