Here, nutmeg can be bought as whole or in powder form. Nutmeg has been popular in Great Britain since the spice trades, and are often found in sweet milky dishes such as custards and puddings. It is an excellent complement with vegetables such as onions, cauliflowers, spinach and potatoes. They can also be found in milk-based sauces, fruitcakes, pies and wine. Myristica fragrans.
