This extremely popular Fukuoka souvenir is made with Amaou strawberries from Fukuoka Prefecture and features a crispy pie crust. "Hakata Pie 16 Pieces" is a crispy strawberry-flavored pie crust sold exclusively in Fukuoka Prefecture. It is manufactured by Ito King, known for processing and selling Amaou strawberries from Fukuoka Prefecture. Since its release in May 2013, it has been very popular as a souvenir from Hakata and Kyushu. This confectionery is made using Amaou, a high-end strawberry brand from Fukuoka Prefecture, and its delicate aroma and gentle sweetness are trapped in the pie crust before being baked. The flavor of the Amaou strawberries is not too overpowering, and the crispy, light texture of the pie and the elegant aroma and sweetness that spread softly in your mouth are its characteristics. The strawberry aroma, butter flavor of the pie, and the gentle sweetness of the condensed milk are in perfect harmony, making it popular with a wide range of generations, regardless of age or gender.
