Yongdae-ri Dried Shredded Pollock 

Unlike regular dried pollock, which is typically dried for about 3 months, Yongdae-ri Hwangtae (Korean Dried Pollock) is naturally dried for a full 6 months, from December through May. Slowly dried in the cold winter air, the pollock develops a firm, dry texture that snaps easily when bent. This traditional drying process naturally removes moisture without the need for chemical preservatives.

Jinburyeong in Gangwon Province, is one of Korea's most famous regions for premium dried pollock.
