Shiino Foods Katsuo Sake-kasu 280g 1 each

A salted dish made by long-term salting and fermenting the precious stomach and intestines of bonito. Shiino Foods' "Katsuo Sake-kasu 280g" is a traditional salted dish made by long-term salting and fermenting rare parts of bonito for six months to a year. Only 30 to 40g of the stomach and intestines can be obtained from one bonito, and the dish is characterized by its deep flavor and richness due to fermentation, as well as its concentrated taste. The name "sake-kasu" comes from the fact that it is such a perfect delicacy to eat with sake that you would "want to steal a drink to eat it with it". It has been popular with sake lovers for a long time, and in recent years it has been widely used as a "Japanese anchovy" as a main ingredient, secret ingredient, and seasoning in both Japanese and Western cuisine. It can be used as a sake snack or rice accompaniment, or it can be used as a sauce for pasta, pizza, cream cheese, or olive oil, or used instead of soy sauce to further enhance the flavor and richness of the dish. It has a mild and easy-to-eat taste, and is recommended for those who are trying sake kasu for the first time.
