Rohto Melano CC Deep Clear Enzyme Face Wash
is a popular Japanese daily facial cleansing foam designed to deeply clean pores while brightening the complexion. It uses a combination of enzymes, Vitamin C, and clay to remove stubborn dirt and dead skin cells without stripping moisture.
Product Description & Key Features
- Deep Pore Cleansing: This face wash is expertly crafted with protease enzymes to gently dissolve and remove proteinaceous dirt and dead skin cells. The formula also uses a Kaolin clay adsorption foam that acts like a magnet to effectively absorb excess oil and impurities from pores.
- Brightening & Moisturizing: Infused with skin-conditioning Vitamin C (ascorbic acid and 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid), it helps to brighten the skin tone and protect the skin's moisture barrier, ensuring the face feels soft and not stripped after washing.
- Gentle for Daily Use: Rohto uses a patented Japanese technology to stabilize the enzyme within a tube-packed formula, making it safe and effective for daily use both morning and night, unlike some single-use enzyme powder packets.
- Pleasant Scent: Reviewers often note the pleasant and refreshing light citrus aroma, which adds a nice sensory element to the skincare routine.
- Formulation: The product is fragrance-free, colorant-free, mineral oil-free, alcohol (ethanol)-free, and paraben-free, with a mildly acidic pH.
- User Reviews: The product holds a high average rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars across various retailers, with users praising its effectiveness for pore care and non-drying finish.
