Riz Cafe's organic brown rice coffee-like beverage is made from domestically grown organic brown rice, which is heated with far-infrared heat and then processed using a micro-powder process to produce a fine powder with an average particle size of less than 10 microns. [Riz Cafe's Commitment] This beverage uses domestically grown organic brown rice (Kagoshima Prefecture and elsewhere) and is certified organic by the Japan Agricultural Standards (JAS). Roasting with far-infrared heat and steam creates a high-quality coffee-like beverage. Deeply roasted organic brown rice is finely ground to less than 10 microns, creating soft granules. It dissolves easily in hot water or cold water, with almost no particle settling. Superheated Steam and Far-Infrared Roasting Superheated steam is steam that has been further heated to 100�‹C. This is the same steam oven commonly used in homes these days. By sending this superheated steam into the roasting pot, roasting is carried out in an oxygen-free environment, preventing excessive oxidation of the ingredients.
