We gently wrap chunky sweet red bean paste (*tsubu-an*) in our signature *nama-yatsuhashi* (unbaked rice flour dough), known for its delightfully chewy texture. This is a convenient, single-serving pack containing five pieces in the classic cinnamon (*nikki*) flavor. As this is a fresh Japanese *nama-yatsuhashi* product, it is classified as a fresh food item. The period during which the flavor is at its peak (the "best-by" date) is up to 25 days from the date of manufacture. We arrange for procurement, packaging, and shipping only after receiving your order; consequently, *nama-yatsuhashi* orders require approximately 4 to 5 days for dispatch—longer than our standard products. As a result, there may be only 5 to 10 days of shelf life remaining when the product reaches you; please note that this is normal. Additionally, the "best-by" date (*shomi-kigen*) indicated on Japanese food products differs from a strict "use-by" or expiration date (*shohi-kigen*). Passing the best-by date does not mean the product immediately spoils or becomes inedible; rather, it indicates that the flavor or texture may undergo slight changes. Please refrain from purchasing if you do not accept these terms.
