We have gently wrapped chunky sweet red bean paste (*tsubu-an*) in our signature *nama-yatsuhashi* (fresh, chewy rice-flour dough). This assortment includes two flavors: cinnamon (*nikki*) and Uji matcha. Contents: 5 cinnamon pieces / 5 Uji matcha pieces (10 pieces total). This product is a Japanese *nama-yatsuhashi* and is classified as a fresh food item. Its peak flavor period (best-before date) is up to 25 days from the date of manufacture. We arrange procurement, packaging, and shipping only after receiving your order; consequently, *nama-yatsuhashi* orders require approximately 4 to 5 days for processing before shipment—longer than our standard products. As a result, there may be only 5 to 10 days of shelf life remaining when the product reaches you; please note that this is normal. Additionally, the "best-before date" (*shomi-kigen*) indicated on Japanese food products differs from a "use-by date" (*shohi-kigen*). Passing the best-before date does not mean the product immediately spoils or becomes inedible; rather, it indicates that the flavor or texture may undergo slight changes. Please refrain from purchasing if you do not accept these terms.
