MiraLAX PEG 3350 Osmotic Laxative Powder

An osmotic laxative for relief of occasional constipation. 

A bowel movement usually occurs within 1 to 3 days. Each dose contains 17 g Polyethylene Glycol 3350; approximately 14 doses per bottle.

Directions

Adults and adolescents 17 years and older: Take once daily. 

Dissolve 17 g (marked line on cap) completely in 4–8 fl oz (approximately 120–240 mL) of beverage and drink. 

Do not use for more than 7 days unless directed by a healthcare provider. 

Consult a doctor for children 16 years and younger.

Warnings

Do not use if you are allergic to polyethylene glycol. 

Patients with kidney disease should only use this product under the direction and supervision of a doctor. 

Consult a doctor before use if you have nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, a sudden change in bowel habits lasting more than 2 weeks, or irritable bowel syndrome. 

Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking prescription medicines. Loose stools, watery stools or increased bowel frequency may occur during use. 

Stop use and seek medical care if rectal bleeding occurs, or if nausea, bloating, cramping or abdominal pain worsens.

Storage

Store at 20–25°C (68–77°F). Do not use if the tamper-evident foil seal under the cap is missing, opened or broken.
