Imodium A-D | Loperamide HCl 2mg Anti-Diarrheal Tablets 

Active Ingredient: 

Loperamide hydrochloride 2 mg per tablet. 

Purpose: Controls symptoms of diarrhea, including Travelers' Diarrhea. It works by slowing intestinal movement to reduce bowel frequency.

Directions 

Adults and children 12 years and older: Take 2 tablets at first dose; take 1 tablet after each loose stool. 

Do not take more than 4 tablets (8 mg) in 24 hours. Swallow whole with water. 

Consult a doctor before use for children under 12 years old.

Warnings 

Do not use if you have bloody/black stool, fever, bloating or severe abdominal pain. 

Stop use and see a doctor if diarrhea lasts more than 2 days, symptoms worsen, or you experience palpitations, fainting. 

Do not overdose for faster relief; overdose may cause serious heart rhythm problems.

Pharmacist Note 

You may use it for short-term relief only when there is no blood in stool, high fever or severe pain. 

Seek medical help immediately if those warning signs appear. 

For travel use: Carry with you, follow dosage limit strictly. 

Remember to replenish water & electrolytes. Do not keep self-treatment over 2 days.
