This is my first purchase. My husband, who enjoys baking bread, was looking for purple sweet potato powder to knead into his dough when he came across this. I'm happy that the only ingredient is purple sweet potato and that it doesn't contain any unnecessary additives.

This has a great taste but I like the butterfly brand extract better this one is a lot smaller then i expected and as soon as I touched it i got purple dye all over my fingers even with the cap and plastic on it. Other then that it is still good.

I created lots of desserts using this ube extract! I made ube halaya that became the filling for my ube cupcake, ube layered cake and ube-cheese pandesal. I also used it for my frosting and even bilo bilo! I don't know why, but the bilo bilo with ube extract had better texture than the plain one. It was softer, chewier! I used other brand before, one that I got from an asian store but I prefer this brand, being a Filipino I can attest that it has more authentic ube flavor Also I noticed I didn't even need to put food color most of the time since it already gave my bakes that purple tinge that's so reminiscent of ube.
