I created lots of desserts using this ube extract! I made ube halaya that became the filling for my ube cupcake, ube layered cake and ube-cheese pandesal. I also used it for my frosting and even bilo bilo! I don't know why, but the bilo bilo with ube extract had better texture than the plain one. It was softer, chewier! I used other brand before, one that I got from an asian store but I prefer this brand, being a Filipino I can attest that it has more authentic ube flavor Also I noticed I didn't even need to put food color most of the time since it already gave my bakes that purple tinge that's so reminiscent of ube.
The best for that authentic ube flavor! A little goes a long way and it’s perfect for ube desserts, breads, and cakes. Definitely my go-to!
