This dried Guilin rice noodle has good noodle texture. Soak it in warm water first then boil for several minutes. The noodles stay chewy and do not turn mushy easily. I cook it with pickled vegetables, chili and meat to make authentic‑style rice noodles. One note: it requires pre‑soaking; you cannot cook it directly without soaking.
Rice noodles need to be cooked for a longer time; they taste really good that way.
I'm looking for wide rice noodles; I don't like the thin kind. I hope I've found the right one this time.

The prices are much better than Asian markets, the food is fresh, and it's packaged very carefully. I need to buy groceries from Wee every week, but there's no fresh food delivery service through Gofftown, so I can only order through a friend or acquaintance. It's a shame because it's so inconvenient! Hopefully, they will offer fresh food delivery through Gofftown in the future. I'll only buy from Wee and won't need to go to any other market anymore.
