The garlic shoots are great, with an authentic flavor, sweet, tender, and refreshing.
The garlic scapes were very fragrant and flavorful, just a little too old. The texture was still quite good, though. I'd suggest using slightly younger, tender scapes next time for an even more perfect result.

It seems like it would go well with frozen pork!

The garlic shoots were a little soft when I received them, but that doesn't matter; it's probably just because they're vegetables.
