Pork shanks made a delicious beer braised stew. The pork was tender and tasty.

I used to use pork tenderloin, but my knife skills aren't good enough to cut it myself, and the ready-made shreds were either too thick or too thin, and the meat was a bit mushy. Shredded pork shoulder is suitable for many kinds of shredded meat dishes.
