You can thaw the fried dough sticks, take them out and fry or bake them separately, then they won't get soggy.
This "jianbing guozi" is fantastic! Add some sweet sauce, and it tastes just like Shanghai's "baojiaobu" (a type of fried dough). Microwave it for just 2 minutes and you have this classic breakfast from my memories!
