It was really delicious. When the delivery arrived and I checked the condition, it was vacuum-sealed, so I thawed it in ice water for about an hour and it was in perfect condition, so I ate it right away that day.

First, I made sashimi. The meat was good, but there was too much connective tissue. I removed the connective tissue and made sushi directly.
It's chewy and delicious! I've tried other tuna brands, but those were a bit gritty, whereas this one is chewy. However, if it's thawed too much, it can be slightly fishy, so if you are sensitive to fishy tastes, you might not like it.

I bought this for my husband, who loves fatty tuna (otoro), as a Father's Day gift. It arrived partially thawed. There were a few sinews, but I'm grateful to be able to buy this much fatty tuna at this price. I think it's perfectly fine for enjoying sushi at home while living abroad.
