Too hard, not soft enough, and not tasty enough
I’ve had this beef shank before and it was well seasoned and not too dry. This time, though, it was very dry and not seasoned well. Even soaked in the hot noodle soup, the beef was still dry. Idk if they changed their preparation, or maybe bought from a different supplier? I will only be eating this beef with soup and not on its own, which is ok, but disappointing bc I like to snack on it sliced. I’m hoping it’s just an anomaly, bc it’s always been good prior to this order.
It tastes very good. I have sliced it and frozen it as soon as I received it. I didn't eat it and added a few slices to the noodles. It's very good and I will buy it again.
