Nice and fresh and packed with cold stuff
This miso is delicious! It has a sweetness that makes for a mild miso soup. It goes well with any ingredients, and I always want to keep it in stock. It's sometimes out of stock, so even if I still have other miso, I buy it whenever it's restocked.
This is my first purchase, but I'm looking forward to using it since it's from Shinshu.

I used this as the base for a miso marinade: absolutely delicious! The package is large, so this will last me a while, but it's definitely on my repurchase list! I appreciate that there's an extra lining on the inside: helps make me less paranoid that it'll go bad.

Homemade ramyun!
This miso isn't salty. I cooked a very small pot, enough for only two bowls, and was worried it would be too salty, but after seasoning it several times, the taste remained mild. So, you don't have to worry about your soup being too salty when buying this type.
