This is quite different from Kikkoman. The bonito flavor is very strong; Kikkoman is more like bonito soy sauce, while this has a very light and fragrant bonito flavor, which I like. Both are good, but those who prefer a strong bonito flavor will like this one, as Kikkoman's bonito flavor is much milder. It's great added to hot pot, noodle soup, donburi, or blanched vegetables.

Really good, I was trying to figure out the difference between this green one and the red one they also sale. I’m not sure but this one is SO flavorful, it’s a small container fyi if you cook for bigger households this may only last you a small period of time if you consistently use it. The flavor is very pungent and strong better than any other I’ve tried (haven’t tried big mama chicken) but if it’s in the same realm I would say it’s one of the best.
