The Japanese pumpkin is in great condition. Its skin is intact, and the flesh inside is dense and naturally sweet. It can be roasted, made into creamy pumpkin soup or used for baking desserts.
It's really good. It was my first time ordering it, and I'm planning to order it again.
Said 2 to 2.5 pounds but weighed only less than one pound
It about only one and a half pound we said about two and more than 2 pounds. I am not happy. I am very disappointed.
They always send you a really big one. Last time, I made a simmered dish with it and it was so sweet and delicious that my family was delighted, saying, "It feels like we've had Japanese pumpkin for the first time in a while!" So I'm ordering it again. I use half and freeze the other half.
I bought it for the first time! The flavor was a little bland. I made a salt and butter stew with it!
I am so glad I find this one very hard to find in store
Pack it will
The small pumpkin smelled musty as soon as I opened the plastic bag; mold had started growing on the base. Hopefully, it won't affect the quality of the pumpkin.
I can certainly buy it at my local supermarket, but the pumpkin I ordered from here last time was so fluffy, sweet, and delicious that I decided to order it again.
