I was looking for a different brand of Shoyu sauce only to use for sashimi or sushi .. I saw this one and took a chance on purchasing it.. Glad to see it came in a smaller sized bottle .
It looks high-end. The ingredients are purer than another Kikkoman sushi soy sauce; there are no flavor enhancers.
This kappo sashimi soy sauce has a milder flavor than regular soy sauce, with a more prominent umami taste and less saltiness, making it especially suitable for pairing with sashimi, sushi, and seafood, as it doesn't overpower the natural sweetness of the ingredients. Besides dipping salmon, sweet shrimp, and surf clam in sashimi, it's also great for dipping dumplings, boiled shrimp, and poached chicken. The small bottle size is just right, making it easier to use up the flavor when it's at its peak after opening, and it doesn't take up much space in the refrigerator. If you enjoy cooking Japanese food at home, having a bottle on hand is very practical.

What kind of soy sauce should be paired with what kind of fish?
This is my first order. I'll try it tonight to see if the flavor goes well with the sushi. If it's good, I'll order again.
