The glutinous rice and bamboo leaves are a bit difficult to separate and tend to stick together; the red bean paste is also a bit dry.
I bought several brands, and they were all good.
It's so delicious! I usually have high blood sugar, so I was looking forward to indulging myself on Dragon Boat Festival. It's so good!

When this Xinghualou snack arrived, it wasn't frozen; it was at normal room temperature. So it felt more like a snack. I thought I'd need to steam it or microwave it before eating it.

I bought a bag of these rice dumplings a few days ago. The dumplings were cooked to the perfect firmness, the glutinous rice was sticky and delicious, and the red bean paste filling was sweet and fragrant. Even my grandson, who doesn't usually like sticky foods, loved them. This is my second purchase.

It's delicious, and a small treat is just right.
These six mini rice dumplings are very small; you could easily eat one in one bite when you're hungry. I previously thought the best way to prepare them was to boil them first, then let them cool and use them as a dessert, like a cold drink or dessert. They taste great with these.
It's not very big, and I just happened to buy several kinds so I can try them all.
I'll repurchase it; both mom and kids love it.
I wonder what the difference is between the mesh bag and the bagged version; I'll try both.
