I bought pork belly, minced pork, and this pork shoulder to make Taiwanese braised pork. All the other meats were fresh, but this one had a spoiled smell.

They were rock hard when I received them. After refrigerating them for half a day, they were just the right size to cut into strips. I made five large strips in total, which are pretty good for char siu, though some parts were a bit lean! I couldn't finish 3 pounds at once, so I'll freeze half and bake 2.5 strips at 400F for 20 minutes on each side.
The char siu is incredibly fragrant, and my family loves it with the char siu sauce.
Weee's meat suppliers are all of good quality. Especially the packaging – everything is clean and IQF, giving you peace of mind when buying and eating.

Though I forgot to take photos of the raw meat and the packaging as I got way to excited to start cooking haha But here's one way to prepare this meat as shown in my photos. Quality is legit so good. Not really sure about the nutrients table legitimacy, but it says it’s got 30g protein per 112g. One chunk weighs 301g. If what it says on the chart is true, it’s got high protein, low fat, 0 carb. Meat quality is wow. I wish they keep selling this without fluctuating the price too much.
It was used to make stir-fried shredded pork with knife-cut noodles, and it tasted pretty good.
I grill it or make spicy pork stir-fry with it. I enjoyed it because there was no gamey smell.
I put it in an InstaPot and made kimchi stew. The meat had just the right amount of lean meat and fat, and it was light and delicious.
