I bought two matsutake mushrooms for 1 pound this time. I buy matsutake every year around this time, but this year's matsutake had more dirt and insects than usual. I checked the weeeee website on my phone and it was about $25. Should I order it? I sat down in front of my PC and it was about $30. The price immediately jumped by $5. Two boxes, about 13 matsutake mushrooms of various sizes. Three of them were eaten away by insects. I thought about soaking them in salt water to remove the insects, but a relative passed away in the evening, so I threw away the insect-eaten matsutake. It's a disadvantage that I can't choose the product myself, but since I leave it up to weeeee, there's nothing I can do. I won't be buying any more this year.
