This was my first time buying mooncakes here, and it was really a great deal when there were discounts. Maxim's mooncakes from Hong Kong have a great reputation; they have thin crusts, lots of filling, are quite substantial, and taste great. They're not too sweet, and one mooncake is just right for two people to share. They'd be even better with a cup of hot tea!
these mass-produced mooncakes usually have a quite long shelf life. But Weee sells mooncakes that expire in 9 days after the delivery.

Really good! Not too heavy
The smooth and creamy red bean paste paired with salted egg yolk is delicious, and the salted egg yolk doesn't have a hard center.
I'm starting to doubt if they're fake, or even from last year. This is the third one already, and not a single yolk is oily; they're all dry and brittle. I'm so disappointed.
