I occasionally buy a pack to satisfy my craving when it's on sale.
I really wanted the red bean past flavor but since it has been out of stock a while, I thought we'd give the black rice version a try. I am truly sorry to say we didn't like this one at all, no flavor whatsoever. I'll keep an eye out for the red bean paste variety.
A bag contains 6 pieces, the size is just right, they are very soft and not too sweet, one is just right for breakfast.

Last time I bought eight-treasure zongzi, this time I bought black glutinous rice and peanut zongzi. It shouldn't be bad.
The peanuts are plentiful, and the sweetness is just right. I order it every year!

The microwave instructions of 8 minutes at medium power was probably, in retrospect, for the entire package and not just a single small zongzi - it ended up very hard and crunchy, though the sweet taste overall was fine. Would suggest removing the plastic sticker before you microwave it
Everything was fine except for the peanuts. I don't know why the peanuts were bitter.
ate most of them already. convenient small size, easy to reheat -- remove string and label, rinse with water to add steam, and microwave for 1-2 minutes from frozen. delicious!

Nice sweet snack. I found that it was microwavable if you put it on 50% power with water for about 2 min for one. If you overmicrowave, it gets crispy, but is still edible

The candied date filling is sweet but not greasy, but some of the millet is not fully steamed, so you need to be patient and reheat it for a longer time.The taste is good, but I will only consider repurchasing at special prices.
