Eat it immediately after buying it. Never thaw it. Always cook it directly while it's still frozen.

The hand-peeled walnuts tasted better. I bought it again.
The hickory flavor is nice and mild, not over powering, slightly salty. It’s a delicious snack. In tense of taste, 5 Star from me. But I gotta say, though it’s pre cracked for you, it still takes some work to get the pecans out of there since it’s so small. That’s why I took away one of the stars. See photo above for size reference to a nickel . I’ve had a similar snack where it’s walnuts instead of pecans. And THAT was a lot easier to get the walnuts out. The walnuts were pre-cracked and yet large enough for your fingers to get a grip around the walnut shell and get enough leverage separate the shell from the nut. These pecans are so small that it was not as easy to get my fat finger in there for that leverage. So it took longer than I liked to get the nut out. I guess that could be a good thing…. So I can’t snack as quickly and I can’t eat as much in one sitting…it may be good at preventing me from overeating…. But just expect it’ll take some time and effort to get it out.
