It's not bad to eat as is, but I find it tastier when cooked. It's really good for making army stew or kimchi stew. I thought the portion would be large, but it's about the size of a large head of cabbage.
This is the best-tasting Korean kimchi sold in the U.S. It tastes just like the kimchi I used to eat in Korea. I don't think I need to go back to Korea anymore.
