Very fresh, this is the first time I've bought this kind of bitter melon. I plan to stir-fry it.

There was a lot of fresh bitter melon in the package. This was a great deal. It was bitter, but not so bitter that it was inedible, and it tasted delicious in salads and stir-fries.
This is my first time buying it, it smells delicious and isn't too bitter.

The bitter melons at the supermarket are often damaged and lack freshness, but this bitter melon is amazing! It looks like it was just harvested. You can tell as soon as you pick it up that it grew up soaked in plenty of sun. I'm so happy! Thank you!
The bitter melons weren't very fresh this time; they were left out for a few days before cooking, and most of them were almost rotten. I only had this much left after cleaning them up. I'll stir-fry them with dried anchovies and fermented black beans; I'll freeze them next time.

I like these bittermelon than the bittermelon from India (carela), which is more bitter, darker, shorter, and more bumpy. These bittermelon is less bitter, lighter in color, longer and less bumpy than the Indian bitter melon.

Delicious and convenient
The bitter melon stuffed with snakehead fish is already seasoned. Just cook the broth with shrimp and add it in. The bitter melon is a bit tough, so cook it a little longer. The snakehead fish is seasoned well. Quite good for lazy cooks.

It's tastier and more convenient than buying pre-made fish cakes, and they have a chewy texture too.
It's very convenient and reasonably priced. I make this dish to eat with hot pot, so I don't fry it beforehand. If you fry it more thoroughly, it will be more fragrant.
