This is Kurobuta pork. There were two types of pork belly, so I bought both. I'm looking forward to seeing how they differ. Both have a nice marbled texture and look delicious. A ton-ton showdown!

Tastes wonderful but roughly half of it is a thick fat. I had to trim the fat aggressively. I cooked it in sous vide and my friends loved it. If you don't mind trimming so much fat, go ahead and get it. I maybe repurchase if it's on a sale.
Remove some of the oil and it's enough for two people.

The fat-to-lean ratio is 2:1. The real pork neck is about 500 grams, and the rest is fat. It is equivalent to buying pork neck meat and giving away pork lard. I bought it after I thought about refining lard. After all, the pork lard in this store is almost $10. If you can't accept it, please buy it with caution.
