It's great that japchae is so easy to eat. You can just heat it up in the microwave, so it's perfect for drinking in your hotel room! When eating it at home, adding some beef stir-fried with yakiniku sauce makes it feel more luxurious.

I had these noodles in a hot pot dish. The texture is much better if you soak them for about 8 hours.

Even after soaking for 24 hours, it doesn't have a chewy texture... It just feels soft and mushy...

I guess you have to soak them for a really, really long time. I'm not good at waiting, so I just ate the hard glass noodles... but next time, I'll have to soak them all day.
