I added some zucchini. The flavor isn't too strong; it's numbing but not too spicy. It's a bit oily; I think it would be better with some tofu. It might be more suitable with wide rice noodles.

I love this hotpot I think i reordered more than 30 times. I added meat and bamboo shoot and still have some room, so you can add your fav veggies. Make sure you only add 70% of the chili powder and 50%-60% of mala paste and this is the right amount for those are first time trying or not good at chinese spices, you will thank me.

It's been a long time since I've had this; the hot pot noodles have a very strong flavor.
Wide rice noodles are an essential ingredient in spicy mixed noodles. Just blanch them in boiling water, let them soak for a while, and the texture is perfect. I didn't use the seasoning packet; I'll use it to make Mapo Tofu next time.
