It was quite tasty; it had a sausage flavor, but it was acceptable, not an unpleasant, foul smell. It's a pity the portion was a bit small.
The glutinous rice inside was delicious, and the outer layer of large intestine was quite chewy. Cutting it into pieces would make it easier to eat. The overall experience was different from what I expected; I thought it would be sausage-sized, but it wasn't cut into pieces like this. After steaming, the meat bulged out.

I was making soup and also really wanted to eat lion's head meatballs. These were of medium size and had a nice crunchy texture. The taste was good, but not particularly amazing. For this price, the quality was acceptable, especially considering I was in a different city. It satisfied my craving.
