I bought it for the first time because it happened to be on sale. (Authentic mapo tofu is too spicy for me ) I cautiously tried the "spicy" version, but it wasn't spicy at all, which was a bit of a letdown . In other words, it was a mapo tofu mix adapted to Japanese tastes. I might buy it again if it's on sale?

Wide and thin noodles were used instead of rice noodles and flat rice noodles, and they were stir-fried to absorb more flavor than when used in soup.
I used it to make curry spicy chicken noodles, and even though I'm on a sugar diet, I managed to slurp it up – it was incredibly filling.
The texture is quite good; it's my favorite of the three. It's chewy and tastes great as a spicy noodle dish. Plus, the fishy smell disappears after washing. I've already repurchased it.
It can be microwaved or simply blanched before eating, making it perfect for those craving noodles but on a diet. Each pack is low in calories, satisfies cravings, tastes great, and is filling. Add your desired vegetables and toppings, and it's more than enough.
