The outside is coated in a crispy, sweet sugary coating, while the inside is sour—I don't know what fruit it's made from. Quite delicious.

Aside from being a little prone to melting, this candied hawthorn is super delicious, much better than the dried kind.

The candied hawthorn skewers were very realistic, even the seeds were carefully removed. Unfortunately, they were a bit melted, and quite a bit of the syrup had spilled out.
