It tastes like home, just a little sour.
I've always loved the taste of Harbin red sausage; it tastes just like domestic sausages. I keep buying it.
I think products made in the US are better, as they're from well-established brands and have the same flavor as their domestic counterparts. However, this is subjective.
Good quality
The top set, steamed and then air-dried for a day, tastes the same as Harbin red sausage. The bottom set can be eaten directly; it tastes good too.
The garlic flavor wasn't strong, but it was still a crispy sausage. Still delicious!
Super fresh, many things are very fresh, better than what I pick out at the supermarket, I'm just too lazy to take pictures.

This was my first time trying Harbin red sausage, and it wasn't particularly amazing (I wonder if I've been brainwashed by the exaggerated reviews online). Fortunately, the meat was of decent quality and fresh; you could even see the sizzling, oily bits of meat.
Each one is quite a large portion, but it tastes more like a starch sausage, and the seasoning is also similar.
I bought it on sale to try it out; if it's good, I'll buy it again.
It's very fragrant after being lightly pan-fried, and it's not too salty or greasy.
