Should I say it's a bit richer than Donggeurang-ttaeng? Yes. The sauce is actually similar to tonkatsu sauce, but the amount was a bit small, so I added some more tonkatsu sauce I had at home. I ate it with rice, and it's a great side dish for a full meal.

Tteok-galbi is traditionally served at family gatherings and holidays such as Chuseok in Korea, so I was excited to discover this convenient frozen version. I followed the heating instructions on the package and grilled the patties with some onions. They turned out plump, juicy, and packed with flavor! I could taste the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and savory, along with a hint of smoky char from the grill. They were absolutely delicious! I will definitely repurchase them.
