But it's a perfect example of "don't judge a book by its cover." Once cut open, you'll find a whole slice of rose-pink flesh, incredibly beautiful. The moment you cut it open, a rich guava aroma fills the air. One bite, and the flesh is soft, smooth, and incredibly juicy. I learned from social media that it's known as the "dream fruit."
It's very delicious and sweet. I'll buy it again when it's on sale.
