A pack of 3 looks good, but it arrived quite frozen.
It's rare to see river crucian carp. Although they were frozen, they were cleaned very well. Unfortunately, they weren't fried thoroughly today, so the soup wasn't white enough, but it still had a great fish soup flavor.
This crucian carp makes an exceptionally sweet and flavorful soup. Adding white radish, fried eggs, scallions, ginger, goji berries, and cilantro makes it absolutely amazing! It's incredibly delicious!
There were two fish in the package, and they looked very fresh. I made a crucian carp and white radish soup, which was delicious. However, there were quite a few fish bones, so I needed to remove the muddy taste.
