I bought the hairy gourd again; it was very fresh. Today I sliced it and stir-fried it with chicken and carrots. It was a balanced meal with both meat and vegetables, and incredibly nutritious! It tasted great!

I steam red sweet potatoes every morning; it's healthy and tastes good. I originally wanted to roast them, but I couldn't control the oven temperature well, so steaming them tasted pretty good too.
Steamed sweet potatoes are soft and delicious , without any fibrous strands, quite sweet, and not the dry, mealy kind. They make wonderful sweet potato soup, but they'd be even better roasted
