This is my second purchase of banana leaves from Weee. First purchase was satisfactory, so I repurchased. This time most of the leaves are torn. Cannot be used for what it was purchased. The leaves are packaged into a small bag with eggs wrapped the ice pack, so it can fit onto the small bag. Horrible idea. Packers need to do a better job of packing these delicious product. I’m not happy with this product.

This is my first purchase of banana leaves from Weee. I’m excited to use it. I will be making conkies with it( a special West Indian Christmas treat). The leaves are absolutely fresh and beautiful, as if it was just picked. I’m very happy with this product.

I love this! Already cut and ready to use! Much easier to work with than fresh leaves.
I had to try these banana leaves to use with my bibingka. I was skeptical at first, never having used frozen banana leaves. I was impressed with how easy it is to prepare and use, just wash gently then warm over an open flame. I lined my pan with banana leaves before pouring my batter in. The leaves gave my bibingka that signature look and nostalgic taste. You can’t get that by using wax paper LOL. Will buy again!

I wish I could just buy 1 pack of banana leaves, frozen 16 oz. Do you know why? In a pack there were 3 pieces and each piece is approximately 1 - 1.5 m long and also wideeeee. Can you imagine how many pieces of cassava cake suman, rice cake suman or suman sa lihiya can be wrapped? Anyway, it was packed well, frozen and with minimal tear. Fresh and it's smells clean and in good health.
The leaves are fine, but quite dirty; they need a lot of washing and wiping.
